This lesson has been designed to cover the Connections, Comparisons, and Communities ACTFL standards. It provide students with an opportunity for research and writing and to integrate the vocabulary, grammar, and culture concepts previously acquired:
- Nature
- Tourism
- Present tense of regular verbs
- Demonstrative adjectives and pronouns
- Prefixes
- Parks and tourism
Students and their teacher will watch the Spanish version of the vocabulary and grammar video together. Then, students must complete a final activity: Costa Rica: Un país fascinante, which will allow them to share the Spanish knowledge gained up to this point with their classmates or family. Each activity includes its corresponding rubric.
